Artists from 5 to 85+ unite to present an array of inspiring handcrafted work, including quilts, watercolors, oils, photography, woodworking, pottery handbags, basketry, and jewelry.
September 10, 2010 7-9 pm Enjoy specially selected wines offered by Teller Wines that pair perfectly with scrumptious desserts created by Cadbury's own pastry chef. Listen to the beautiful music of Rehoboth's own nationally acclaimed Doug James as you explore an explosion of Quilts and visit with all of our Artists and Artisans listed to the right during this preview of their work. Admission for "Wine & Sweet Dreams" Reception is $20 per person. Tickets are available by contacting Patti Griffith, 644-7998 or pgriffith@cadbury.org. Featured Artist Kevin Fleming Meet Kevin Fleming and share in the excitement of viewing editor prints of his newest book, "Wild Delmarva", being released this November. Be sure to visit the lobby of the Tide's to enjoy a special offering of "ageless art" as you are treated to treasures created by Cadbury Tide's Seniors and masterpieces created this summer by young Artists from Kids Cottage! Featured Artist Marvel at the beautiful quilts displayed by guild members in the largest quilt show in the region. Quilting demonstrations will be held throughout the day. Select quilts and related items will be available for purchase as well as beautiful solid oak quilt ladders. Jeanne Booth, long time Rehoboth resident, is the Guild’s featured quilter and will have many of her beautiful works on display. Ludmilla (Lucy) Morgan, recent recipient of numerous blue ribbons, Judge’s Choice Award and Governor’s Award at the ths year's Delaware State Fair will have many of her strikingly beautiful quilts for display and for sale. Be on hand at the reception on Friday for the first time Kevin Fleming sees in person the award winning quilt created by Lucy Morgan from his 2008 print “Lunch to Go.” Your chance to Win!
